The Rune scimitar (often reffered to by players as an r scimmy or rune scim) is one of the most favoured Rune weapons in the game. Requiring 40 Attack to wield, it can be used to train Attack, Strength, and Defence, and also comes with a fast attack speed, making it a great all-around weapon. It requires 90 Smithing and two Rune bars to create, and is dropped from various monsters including Mummies & Fire Giants.
